What's new

What is shipped in the QuotePaid lite version, what we are building next, and what we are deliberately leaving out for now.

Last updated: 2026-10-21

What is in the lite version today

QuotePaid lite does three documents and the follow-up around them:

  • Quotes built from a price list, with VAT calculated per line.
  • Client signature on the quote, collected on your phone.
  • Invoices created from a signed quote, with work date, site address and units.
  • Receipts generated automatically when you mark an invoice paid.
  • Partial payments, with the remaining balance kept on the document.
  • Friendly payment reminders you can send when something is late.
  • A web app that shares the same data as the phone app.
  • Business settings — company details, logo, VAT-exempt wording and payment details are printed on every document.

Next

  1. E-invoicing for France. From September 2026 every French business must be able to receive e-invoices, and from September 2027 small and medium businesses must issue them. A compliant version — built on a certified partner platform, not a home-made format — is planned before that deadline. The lite version is not a certified e-invoicing tool.
  2. Online card payments and deposit links.
  3. Automatic reminders on a schedule, instead of one at a time.
  4. More countries — Germany, Belgium, Italy and Spain after France and the UK.

Deliberately not planned yet

Team seats and per-seat billing, a supplier invoice inbox, progress billing and retainers, offline mode, and voice-to-quote. They are on the roadmap, not in the next release.
